Introduction

How did Team Martin’s get started? Well, let’s start from the beginning. My first track event was in October of 2002 with N.A.S.A., a great club that made my first experience unforgettable. My friend, Gerry Chan, talked me into going with my 75 2002; my BMW that I restored. He told me driving a BMW and not taking it to the track is like dating a super model and just holding hands. I would have to agree. This weekend took place at Summit Point Main. I had a permanent grin on my face for weeks. Needless to say, I was hooked. Within 2 years, I was instructing had an M3 “I” stock racecar with truck and enclosed trailer. Hmmm did someone tell me it was going to cost this much! After some time, my nephew, Justin, starting coming to the track. He also started driving, and he loved it also! My nephew, Mike, came to several events with me at the beginning and we decided it would be a good idea to start a website where we could put up pictures and maybe some film clips. So here it is, I hope you enjoy it. Mike is the webmaster here, personally I have to stick with 12 volts. The best news, TeamMartins.com is now FREE!
